Queer Climbers Sydney was established in 2019 and aims to provide a safe space for gender, sex and sexuality diverse climbers in Sydney to come connect and talk about matters related to climbing and all things LGBTQIA+
We aim to provide a judgement free space without stigma towards the participation of gender diverse people in sports as well as tackling femme invisibility, racism, body-type discrimination and other forms of discrimination that are often characteristic of sport.
We work with local Gyms to host events on a monthly basis as well as collaborating with Nomad Bouldering Gym to host weekly Queer climbers discounts.
